It was the rain she missed, tiny rivers cascading down the windows, gentle pounding on the roof, the way the air would smell when it was over. The scent of green. It was amazing that you could actually describe a color that way, but it was true. Jungle rain had the essence of leaves dripping in tender rhythm, playing soft soliquies of romances that could never be forgotten and it allowed for quiet touch of brush against canvas. Words read line by line, by lover as music played long phrases…
